I've only gone to the Grand Concourse a few times and each was a special occasion / weekend to celebrate (Mother's Day, Birthday and welcome home events). We not usually the plan ahead / need to make a reservation couple; but this place is worth it.
The atmosphere is awesome, it's so nostallgic; but pricey. This is not a get in and get out kind of event / place. So, sit back and enjoy.
Don't miss the donut machine in the bar area. Of course there are buffet table with different brunch selections, but usually there's an omelet station, carving station, bananna foster guy... oh the dessert table, along with juices in punch bowls.

Whether you're staying in Pittsburgh or you live here, this is the best and classiest brunch in town. Ideal if your staying at Station Square. If you're staying on he he North Shore, you can take one of the Gateway Clipper boats over. Or, not a bad place to start your Sunday, followed up by a walk or a Pirate game--if you don't mind walking across the bridges, which aren't bad at all.

The food and service is always excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful, old world style. It is a great place to take out of town visitors because the decor and food/service never disappoints.

The atmosphere and food are probably the best brunch in da' burg. Take your time to enjoy the wait for an omelet. Send the kids to the fresh donut machine. The architecture of the station is beyond impressive - a poignant reminder of the "good old days". Take family and visitor from out of town here for brunch and don't tell them what to expect as the first visit is a memorable experience.
