Description: DeLuca's in the Strip District of Pittsburgh is the original DeLuca's Diner. Our diner is an old fashioned breakfast and lunch spot that has been in business since 1950, with the recent owners now operating DeLuca's Diner for over 30 years maintaining the nostalgic feel and look of the original diner. DeLuca's is located on Penn Avenue, just look for the rooster on top of our building!

I had the Philly omelet & it was big & delicious. The ladies that waited on me were very pleasant & kept smiling. It was overall a good experience. "NYSTEELERS Fan"

We ate at the one open only 3 weeks near Steubenville. The staff were super friendly. The food was great. I highly recommend either location.

This is the place to eat breakfast in Pittsburgh! Always delicious! Expect a long line on the weekends, but it moves better than it seems. Sitting at the counter is great! Portions are huge, fresh, and made to order. Mancini's Italian bread toast is super. Pancakes are the best ever!!! After reading a few reviews, don't expect some foodie explanation of the specials. This is Pittsburgh- Steeler Country. Come hungry and ready to eat. If you want low fat, fancy options, go somewhere else. If you want a real breakfast, sit back and enjoy the experience!!! No fluff, excellent breakfast cooked and served by real people who work hard. Don't miss it if you're in town!

I finally made it to DeLuca's for the first time yesterday with my parents and will be returning. The 25 minute wait in line was worth it. The service was friendly and fast! The buttermilk hotcakes were the best I have ever had and the homemade sausage was delicious. The portions were a little big and to go containers are available to take any leftovers home. The coffee was hot and tasty. We enjoyed our first visit to this Pgh favorite. It's a great kick start to your Strip District shopping list.
