“This is not island fare!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

The food is adequate at best and the restaurant is very noisy. The food choices are not what you would expect to find on an island menu. Lousy imitation!

“Worst immitation Caribbean I ever had”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

Have been going there for about 5 years, and the food, menu have gotten exponentially worst. The only true Caribbean items on the menu now are the plantains and empanada's . We went today, 5/26/2013 and they were out of empanada's (and it was only 4pm????). Plaintains were covered in a salsa type topping with melted cheese. Looked like little pizzas??? The ribs use to be called Jamaican ribs, now just called "ribs" and served with french fries??? Didn't know if I was at Bahama breeze or TGIF's. Taste about the same. They got rid of many items that had true Caribbean zest, and added page full of burgers. Many dishes have Linguini. I think the owners, chefs or both should spend a month or two in the Caribbean. Almost seams like they took the wrong plane and landed some were dishes are mixed. i.e. spaghetti and rice together, perhaps they landed in Argentina?? Rice is not yellow in the Caribbean, nor does it have saffron. I am Cuban, but I'll eat anything!! I am a Physician working long hours and live on fast food. Yet, for the first time in my life, I actually sent a dish back today!!! I'm sorry, I can live on white castle burgers, but can't stomach calling a round piece of chocolate cake with a single ring of pineapple a pineapple upside down cake!! They have to go back to the drawing board. Very disappointed.

“A Lacking Experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2013

I have been to this restaurant a number of times and it doesn't hold up her corporate sisters The Olive Garden or Red Lobster. They could make a great Mojito if they would cut back in filling the glass with up to 3/4 crushed ice, I know that there is a big margin in drinks at restaurants so cut the consumer a break!

On my recent visit we tried their new tuna appetizer, would not recommend it. Couldn't find the tuna and truely not worth the price. The main courses come without a salad, which when you look at the corporate sisters is a major mistake. They have also up dated their menu and have added rice bowls, along with several Mexician type of entrees. Can we say "indentity crisis"?!

My several visits in the past year have been on Saturday nights, and as mentioned by other people in their reviews.......... no wait for a table! Meanwhile the restaurants next door are packed. This is a sad note as I think the place could be turned around into a popular restaurant. If the don't do something soon I'm afraid the Bahama Breeze will blow away in a tropical wind!

“Great Caribbean atmosphere and great food. Make sure you get...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

My favorite dish there is bowtie pasta with salmon. It's dynamite. I've had it a dozen times.

Not a big wait most days but Saturday night. Much better than the standard all around.
