There are several good restaurants here but most of them seemed to be part of a chain. Of particular local note are NOLA and Oyster House. Not much else to see and do except catch some street music.

On a hot Sunday afternoon, the waterworks were quite the attraction for the younger crowd. I liked the cool reflections of the PPG buildings against one another, which presented an intriguing photo opportunity. They have events going on here every weekend.

This is a lively area right downtown. Check out the farmer;s market on Fridays in the summer -- great produce and hot foods!

Market Square is a great place to stop for dinner or a drink or even to play a game of checkers or ping pong. It is a quaint area that is a great place to experience city living

I'd read about and heard about Market Square and its farmers' market and craft vendors and such and was anticipating a real big city type street fair. Nope. Just a sort of run-of-the-mill thing -- smaller, in fact, than some much smaller cities have. Even testing many free samples and yacking with vendors, we were ready to go in less than an hour. The pierogies were really good, though. Other than that, not sure if it was worth the traffic and parking hassles.
