We were heartily welcomed by Jerry. Service was very attentive and efficient. Has some delicious oysters that the waiter helped us choose from a myriad of options. I had the seafood trio and opted to have it over the salad instead of the rice and veggies. Nice portions but it's tough to get 3 different fish (shrimp, scallops and Escobar) done at the same time and correctly. Shrimp good, scallops okay but Escobar too done. I would go again as it has great potential and very enjoyable. Luke Wholey, the chef came out and talked with us and was very open to our comments. Wish him and all his staff great time ahead.

Thank Janet T

This was our first visit to Luke Wholey’s restaurant. There were 4 in our party and after checking the web site, we telephoned and left a message for a reservation. We did receive a call back the day of the reservation confirming. When we arrived at our 5pm reservation time, we gave our name and stated we did have a reservation. There were a couple of people sitting at the bar, and just 1 or 2 other tables occupied. There was a dinner table near the front window nicely set up for 4 people with a reserved sign, but the host took us to a different table in the back that was not set up. We asked about sitting in the nicer area and he said that other table is reserved, he did put us closer to the front, but still a high “bar-type” table. The table we sat at had rough edges and I noticed when I got home my top was quite snagged in the front. We had to ask for a wine list and was told they did not have one, so we settled for a glass of house wine… have no idea what brand it was. We asked about happy hour and was told they do not have happy hour specials. Our entrees were excellent. That was the best part. The service, not so much. No one came by to refill our water glasses. Interesting note is that the “reserved” table in the very nice location stayed empty the entire time we were there. Even though we made a reservation we do not think they really were expecting us. If the service was as stellar as the food, we would return. However, we most likely will not be returning….

We went two days after Christmas. We love going to the Strip, but usually we are at strip very early in the morning and always eat at DuLuca's. My brother-in-law & sister-in--law where home from San Diego. We wanted to eat lunch and stopped at Luke's. The food was very good! The cod sandwich was awesome and huge! It would be worth the $3.00 fee to split the sandwich. The service was a little slow, but we where not in any hurry sat had a few beers!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and were very happy we did. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. My husband had a variety of oysters and the ahi tuna while I had the blackened baja shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious! Each entree came with a fresh vegetable and jasmine rice with a sweet soy sauce. The portion sizes were perfect. Our bill was around $90 with tip, but that included a couple glasses of wine along with the oyster appetizer and the two entrees. It was a great experience and we will definitely go back!

We stopped in for lunch while walking through the strip. Really good food for a decent price. Very good option if you want fish or a sandwich for lunch.
