We enjoyed visiting the aviary. Considering it is the national aviary, we expected it to be much larger. That said, it was still worth the visit. The staff was very friendly. We especially liked feeding the Lories. The Sea Eagle was magnificent and awesome.

My wife and I (both seniors) spent and enjoyable time amongst the birds at the National Aviary last weekend. While the variety is nice it's even better to walk into a room that has the birds flying free around you. The worst thing about the experience was trying to get the finches to stay in one place long enough to get a picture. We enjoyed ourselves and even learned a little.

We have taken the kids here many times. We had a season pass for many years. It is great place to go during the winter and hot summer days. Always a pleasure to visit. If you have a zoo pass from other zoos, this once should be free to get in. It is small and will not take long to go through, but worth the visit.

I really enjoyed the Aviary - the Sea Eagles were stunning and they have one of the best African Penguin habitats I've seen with 20,000 gallons of water. The staff I talked to was awesome and really love their birds. The wetlands interaction was very enjoyable - feeding Inca Terns is always a treat. They support Sanccob which is a plus in my book. Good pizza too

This was a small aviary and overpriced for the experience. Although there were many exotic birds, I can pay nearly the same price for admission at the Brookfield zoo in Chicago and see a larger variety of birds and other animals also.
