“It's All Happening at the Zoo”
Reviewed March 14, 2012

We happened to hit a sunny warm Spring-like day and the animals knew it. Every single exhibit was active animals.
The Tigers (5 of them) were bounding & leaping & rolling around with each other like huge kittens. There is a plexiglass window viewing site and if anyone stood at it, a tiger would approach the window & watch you from the other side---the thickness of a window away. Great!

“It's pretty nice and it's usually clean.”
Reviewed March 14, 2012

I like the shark tank and the aquarium the best. The lions and other things are usually sitting out in the sun and yawning. I guess it's better than seeing them out in the sun chompin on some bystander or their kid.
The sea otters are super cute as always and the polar bears and penguins are usually a highlight too.
Don't stand around and watch the gorillas too long because after 4 or 5 minutes you are bound to get a Gorilla bathroom break put into the mix. Believe me - you don't need to see that.

Food's kind of a rip off. I'm no fan there. Bring stuff to eat.

“Nice zoo!!!”
Reviewed March 13, 2012

The zoo was a very nice. It is hilly so make sure you bring sneakers and a stroller for the younger kids. The area's were nice for the animals. It was a nice time and my daughters had a great time. We will sure be back. The food is pricey though. The aquarium is great.
