spent an entire summer day with extended family, consisting of 4 children and three adults at the Science Center on a hot July day and never wanted to go home!! The new sports addition is hands down worth a few hours on its own, but the level and amount of activities will appeal to every age level in your group.

What a great day to spend with the children. We did the Just Ducky Tour from the Station Square and onward to the North Shore to the Carnegie Science Center. So much to keep their interest. They are 9&11.

Went to the children's museum the day before and was disappointed. Could have just went to the science center and got to do almost all the same things plus extras. Science kitchen was cool. The sport building was my son's favorite. He is almost 4 and couldn't do everything but love being a pitcher and bouncing on the trampoline. Could have spend even more time there but son and daughter needed a nap. Would so go back. Skip the children's museum.

My sisters and I took my mom and 7 year old niece to see the Flight of the Butterflies at the Omnimax Theater in the Carnegie Science Center. We were running late but the staff was extremely helpful - went out of their way to make sure we got to to our seats as quickly and safely as possible. Watching movies in the Omnimax is different than watching a movie at regular movie theaters. YOu feel like you are right there - experiencing firsthand the actions in the movie. The movie we saw was extremely informative - we learned a lot about butterflies and their migration to Texas and Mexico. None of us had any idea of this study. Makes one appreciate the butterfly even more.

First time I had visited & it was fun for all ages! Lots of interactive exhibits. The Sports building (sorry not sure what it is called) is included in the admission as well as the submarine.
