Our family, all ages, annually join for Christmas in the City--our favorite city is Pittsburgh. Check it out it's website, there's lots to see and do, but during that 3 day stay, everyone insists on walking across Smithfield Street Bridge and riding the incline. The view of the 3 rivers and the restored city is spectacular, with some snow, it's even more beautiful day or night. The houses and the church on the street are magnificent too. When you leave the incline building, go to the right and climb to the top of the hill to enjoy viewing platforms. Always take a camera, it's erfect background for family pictures or city skyline. The cost is $3.25 CASH ONLY The change machines may be empty, so be sure to take exact change. Check out the rest of the special displays and events in the city at Christmas time. It's a bargain place to enjoy carolers, window displays, Christmas concerts on the streets, amazing displays, Carriage rides, and ice skating.
