“where three rivers come together”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

station square is a great place to explore and relax, you can choose from variety of resturants from the hard rock cafe to the newest brazilian steakhouse. you can ride the incline to the top of the hill where there is a concrete over look that you can see down on top of the whole city! great for pictures. they have a old fashioned ice cream store there too! they have a few stores you can shop at and if your in for romance you can take a horse and buggy ride in the evening. you are also only a short drive or a ride on the transit across the river to the pittsburgh steelers stadium and pittsburgh pirate ballpark. and for the walkers and runners there is a great trail along the river. you can also walk down to the point where the monogahalia and allegeiney rivers come togeather. there is a huge water foutain there also. you will have the time of your life there. so put your foot forward and go to station square and explore.

“Great for dinner”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

It's a great place to grab some dinner, views and inexpensively eat along the river. The shopping needs to improve. There were very few shops and most had items that were not unique. A bit of a disappointment.

“Nice area”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

Station Square is a well developed area that blends some of the history with a nice modern feel. It has a few restaurants, shops, and bars that are pretty good. It also has a pretty view of the city. It's definitely a place to visit for a nice night out.

“Great for all”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Station Square has a nice variety of restaurants, tour options(Duck Tour) and great views. If staying for a conference at the Sheraton, the location is walking friendly and the restaurants are various in from five star to chain. Many people I overheard going on morning 8 mile walks along the river. Took a ferry over to PNC. The shopping center was never busy..not sure how those stores stay in business. Did find a nice store with sugar scrubs, lotions, soaps. Nice cigar shop if you like and tons of sports shops with Steelers/Pirates items. Nice if on business or with family.

“Good for 'walkers' and cyclists.”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

The biggest advantage of the Station Square is its proximity to The Incline and The Ducky Tours, both of which are top Pittsburgh attractions. Parking is available less than 5 mins from the square. This is a great place to walk around or even to cycle; we saw several cyclists.
Restaurants are in plenty and you can pcik from several options.

Shopping can be done but there is nothing new or unique as such. The nightlife is quite strong and the fountains in the square so make a lovely display as they are all lit up at night. If you just want to click some pictures, walk/cycle around or grab a bite after a walk or after visiting any of the attractions, Station Square is the place to be.
