No place compares to Mount Washington in Pittsburgh. Best view of the city and it has some of the best restaurants and eateries in the city. Clear nights are the best, but even on overcast days its great. You will not find any other city like Pittsburgh with its Mount Washington.

Excellent viewing and photo-taking vantage point for this beautiful and interesting city. I recommend the drive up to the viewing area, parking is not difficult. Walk along the overlook and take pictures. A couple of wedding parties were using the Pittsburgh skyline as a backdrop for pictures on the Saturday I was there. No need to take the incline as it really doesn't give you a better perspective than the overlook does.

Loved the view from atop Mount Washington and the incline. People there are so friendly and the cost of incline to downtown Pittsburgh is very affordable. Be sure to make this a "must see" stop.

I was only in Pittsburgh for 24 hours, but knew this was a spot to see. It's been rated as one of the most beautiful spots in America by several outlets, and it's easy to see why.

Tip: Take the Monongahela Incline up and the Duquesne Incline down, or vice versa. The walk from one to the other is not very long (I'd say a mile at most), and there's a good half dozen viewing spots where you can steal amazing glances down at the city and the rivers and bridges surrounding it.

Unmatched for photo opportunities of the Pittsburgh Skyline. Not just a tourist destination, but a real neighborhood with several upscale restaurants, and the two Inclines for transporting residents/tourists up and down the mountain.
Definitely worth visiting when in Pittsburgh.
