“Most Fun Place for a ballgame”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

We are so lucky to live in a city that has one of the best ball parks. Always a good seat, no matter where your tickets are. Love the thrill of the game.

“Best ballpark in America;too bad it's in Pitt ;)”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

I'm on a mission to visit every baseball stadium in America, last year it was PNC and Citi Field. Traveled from San Diego to see the Padres play the Pirates, and have to say, this one is far and away the best. AT&T in Frisco and our own Petco Park are the only "new" parks that even come close in my opinion.
Sight lines, architecture, and views of the downtown skyline are brilliant. You can keep the summer humidity in Pitt but I'll gladly take PNC Park. Also, if you have a chance to stay downtown and walk to the park across the Clemente Bridge, do it. Even in a visiting teams jersey, it was great and the pregame buzz was palpable. On that note, some of the most polite and knowledgeable fan bases around. As an SD fan it's hard to feel bad for anyone, but these fans have been through the wringer the last 20 yrs. Great to see such dedication.
Also thumbs up to the food selection and quality, and the "Skyblast" concert/fireworks show after select games must be seen to be believed. Not easily impressed by fireworks shows, but they were shooting them off the surrounding high rise buildings, barges in the river, and the Clemente Bridge - simultaneously. With a live band playing on the field. Wow.
