“Billy Joel ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

He saw Billy Joel there recently. We had floor seats the view was good the sound quality was very good. The ushers got us quickly to their seats. The vending prices were what you would expect. We will return.

“Great venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2014

The venue was easy to get to from an adjacent hotel (although driving/parking looked tough). The sight lines are fantastic and the arena is very light and bright. Comfortable seats. Staff were average but stayed mostly invisible.

“Typical Modern Hockey Venue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2014

Being a non-Pittsburgher Penguins fan this was my first time seeing the Penguins play on their home ice. The Consol Energy Center is nice, modern, clean, interactive pieces, lots of food choices. and gift shops (even an all women's wear shop!). I still wax nostalgic for the old arenas, which somehow through their flaws exuded more fun, character, and atmosphere. They still did their best with the modern cookie cutter arena of today.

“up in da club (capt morgan) consol energy center”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2014

was invited to the 2/3 home hockey game against the senators. access to the Cap'n Morgan club. this is really the way to see a hockey game..went a half hour before puck dropped..tickets allowed a $10 credit for food in the club. we split a corned beef on rye sammie and then later the nachos. those were terrible (typical nachos which i am not a fan of) the sammie was yummy. had Manhattans which were good. there was a Crown Royal Maple promotion going on which made me buy a bottle later that week. the bathroom accessible on to patrons in the club is huge/convenient. the actual seats were very interesting. last row on the tier and were like bar/bistro seats. tall chairs sitting at a ledge. I liked them logistically as they were roomier; just like to be closer to the game.

“Nice stadium”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

Went for the Royal Rumble with three young children. A nice new stadium with fantastic food options. Staff were friendly, only problem was how long it took them to eject some disruptive patrons nearby after several complaints from other patrons. Want to go back to see the Penguins some time.
