Have seen several concerts and Penguin games here. Not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of restrooms and phone charging stations are nice feature. Great view of the city from the outside too.

They've been booking some great shows, but the Peterson Events Center is far superior as far as views and accoustics. Consol just feels HUGE, the acoustics leave a lot to be desired, and if you are in the upper level seating you may as well stay home and get the DVD, because you won't see anything. Somewhat disappointed. Spring for lower level seats or don't bother.

We have sat in many sections, all have been good seats The jumbo tron is awesome. The food is okay. We park in the PNC garage and walk, for easy in easy out for we live north of the city.

I'm one of the Pittsburgher's that didn't want the Civic Arena demolished...it left a big hole in Downtown Pittsburgh and a big whole in my Pittsburgh Heart...I'm glad no one can demolish my Pittsburgh Civic Arena Memories! I just wonder what will happen to the Consol Energy Center, I do know I won't get attached to it!

While vacationing in Pittsburgh, we decided to take a tour of the Console Energy Center and very much enjoyed it. The entire tour lasted roughly 90 minutes and is a must for Penquins fans, hockey fans and sports fans alike. This relatively new stadium is unlike any in the world in terms of its high tech and enviromentally friendly features. What makes this tour unique and special is that you see areas of the facility that the general public attending a game or an event would otherwise not have access to, i.e., various suites to include "Suite 66", art gallery and administrative offices area, as well as the locker room. This hockey arena is truely a marvel and a leading standard for all new arenas of the future. For more precise details on the Console Energy Center, do a "wikipedia" seach. This short tour is time well spent and the cost is minimal. As our visit was in the off season and not for an event, the parking experience was easy and pleasant along the west side of the Console Energy Center in a metered area. Call or e-mail in advance for tour dates in the off season as they do not schedule them very often.
