Great place to walk around and get the feel of the rivers and the city. Would reccomend staying to warmer times of the year as it does get cold and windy!

We visited here on a Sunday morning when there were no other activities happening, so it was very quiet and not crowded. Really nice place to walk around, or sit and enjoy the views.

What is a very large public park on the riverfront was a bit barren & lonely in the cold ! It would come into its own in Spring & Summer and the Fountain is pumping ! Used for concerts & other community events it is a good space. It's also home to Fort Pitt & the Blockhouse from Pittsburgh's earlier days .According to our local friend it is the confluence of 3 Rivers, the Allegheny, Monongahela & Ohio Rivers and looks great when viewed from across the river with Pittsburgh behind It !

We enjoyed a walk along the river to the start of the Ohio River in late afternoon on a spring day. We soaked in the sun and enjoyed this natural spot with view of downtown, bridges and stadiums.
