This was the end of our GAP Trail bike ride from DC. It's a beautiful park and a great p[lace to walk, sit, or enjoy the view

Point State Park is the center of thousands of pictures of the city where the Mon & Allegheny merge to form the Ohio. Everyone has seen it from Mount Washington but it is worth the time to go to it and the fountain. Also it is the original site of Fort Pitt. It is an amazing part of the city.

A pretty park at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, it is not very large but offers a chance for a tranquil walk along the rivers. To access the park, we parked the car at a lot on the other side of the highway and took the walkway under the highway to the park. The pack ice left behind in the fountain area due to recent river flooding was an interesting added dimension to our visit.

We stopped here when we visited my daughter at college. Clean, great views, lots of history. Parked there & walked over the bridge to great restaurants & stadium areas.

First time to the 'Burgh'. The city was way more than i imagined. Very clean city that has changed its image over the years from the old steel factory days. Was greatly impressed. Beautiful fountain and a great vantage point to see Heinz field across the way
