“Good beer and food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

We are two couples, one for the area and one from a suburb. This small Belgium style restaurant is cute and upscale with moderate prices. It offers a nice variety of food. We sampled the wonderful onion soup and kale/mushroom/sausage... both hearty and satisfying. The Bruges salad offered an addition of a protein or portabella mushroom to make it a meal. Two of us chose that and couldn't finish due to the size. Another diner enjoyed a delicious pasta with ribs. The final diner chose the flatiron steak with frites. Again another take-home box. Good service, generous portions and great food accompanied by great beer...what more could you want? Wine was available.

“Wonderful bistro in Highland Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

A sibling of the popular Point Brugge Cafe, Park Bruges is located on the northern edge of Highland Park. It offers a small, but excellent selection of dishes from the Flemish part of Belgium, with some Alsace and Normandy influences. The mussels are among the best we've tasted, and the four onion soup, flavored with fresh apples, is outstanding. There is a good selection of flatbreads (Pissaladière style) and a good variety of beers and wines. A fun bistro with great service and outstanding, hearty food.

“Very good food and good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2014

Recently 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children, ate brunch at Park Bruges. As always, the mussels and fries were excellent. I also loved the grilled cheese with roasted tomatoes. I had shrimp and grits and wasn't totally happy with that--remember, this is a Belgium style restaurant, not New Orleans! Servings are large and food is well presented. Many interesting beers are available and the place is always crowded. We were there when the restaurant opened and could only get seats outside--and it was a bit chilly. Definitely will go back!

“A great vibe here”

Fine food and drink. The place is always hopping, a good sign as people vote with their pocketbook.
Mussels a must.
Frites are the real thing.

“Great food, great service!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

We came to Park Bruges to relive a dish we had in the Alsace region of France and we were delighted with their version! The Tarte Flambee was served perfectly...crunchy, cheesy with lots of grilled onions and just the right amount of smoked ham. And the Belgian frites with the garlic Dijon mayo were outstanding! The Flemish Four Onion soup will get us to come back(140 miles one way) again. We also found wines and beers that were perfect for the foods.

The service was friendly and prompt. We came at a quiet time, about 3pm on a Friday, so we practically had the place to ourselves. We were told it is a busy and fun place in the evenings. On nicer days there are a few tables outside to enjoy your drinks and meals al fresco.

We are so happy that we found this special little place!
