Anthony's is a nice addition to the Settler's Ridge complex. The pizza is great; the sauce is very tasty; toppings are generous and fresh. They do have a tendency to blacken the edges of the pizza crust, which some people like and others leave behind. Their wings are really good and unique, apparently due to utilizing the coal fired ovens. They serve some of the freshest salads around. Service is always very friendly and attentive. Due to popularity, it can get pretty crowded, and subsequently a tad loud. There are a variety of TV's on at any time, providing a near sports bar atmosphere. Additionally, don't be surprised if you have some trouble finding a parking spot, especially during popular movie times. This isn't Anthony's issue, it's more due to what seems to be some deficiencies in the parking layout and availability to accommodate the Settler's Ridge crowds. If you're in the area and you have a hankering for some great pizza, wings, and something to drink (full bar) - Anthony's Coal Fired won't disappoint!

After taking in a movie at Settler's Ridge on my day off, my 8 year old daughter piped up, "Let's try Anthony's for dinner!" Actually, we've been meaning to try out their coal fired pizza for a while and usually we go to the area for Thai Foon. In the mood for something different, we made the very short walk from Cinemark to Anthony's.

The 4 stars in my rating is for the food only. Everything else might be at a 2 or 3.

The pizza was just great! We split a large specialty pizza - one half was broccoli rabe and sausage and the other half was meatball and ricotta. The crust was thin and just lightly burnt from the purported coal fire and the toppings were plentiful and delicious. I would say that the topping choices on the specialty pizza offerings are very well thought out and gave us plenty of reason to return to branch out a little and try a couple of other combinations. So, there ends the 4 star portion.

On to the rest:
- The seating area is very small. This place is deceptively large - when you get in, there is a tiny bar area and only about seating for 50 or so. We had a 20 minute wait and thankfully the food was worth it.
- Service was pretty off. For a Monday night, they were so clearly understaffed. So, long waits for simple requests like more water, extra napkins, silverware for our party of 4, and our check.
- The restaurant itself is hot. I mean, how could it not be when "coal fired pizza" is in the name? But, better ventilation would make the dine in experience go a lot smoother.

Excellent service, very courteous even at the busiest times. Every different thing I've tried on their (limited) menu has been very good!

Want a great pizza but don't feel like having the average pizza ?

Try this place.

Tried to think outside the pizza box when looking at the menu online. Opted to try the meatball and ricotta pizza.

Settlers Ridge on a Friday night is normally extremely busy. We didn't want to wait for a table but saw a sign about curbside service for this location.

Called around 9 pm and was surprised to hear it was only 15-20 mins.

Hostess was extremely nice over the phone, even asking if I knew where they were located - pulled up to the curb and saw a packed restaurant thinking oh no, I'm going to wait....
Didn't wait 3 mins and the hostess came to get the money.

Great service.

Now to the best part ... The pizza was fantastic !!
Very unique and tasty. A little pricey for a pizza at home night but sometimes we have to splurge !

;) Definitely try it.

We went to Anthony's last night. The atmosphere was fun and vibrant although it can be a bit loud. We were waited on very attentively but our waitress and the other staff.
We ordered meatballs, chicken wings, ribs and a pizza. The portions are very generous and are served family style. The meatballs were pretty good although the texture was a bit fine for my taste; I prefer a courser ground for the beef. The sauce was really good. I also really liked the wings which were cooked in olive oil and rosemary with caramelized onions. The ribs, on the other hand, were a bit dry. The pizza was excellent. It is coal-fired and the the hand tossed crust is just thin enough.
Overall we enjoyed Anthony's and will definitely go back.
