What a nice evening we had at Stagioni last night! Our server was great and we could actually talk to each other in the restaurant without yelling!!! THe home made mozzarella was exceptional followed by fresh salads, the beet salad was really good. The main courses all were good, we all had different ones, duck, angel hair past with clams, and salmon. All topped off with great house made desserts. A night to remember, we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out with another couple at Stagioni. Our server Mike was wonderful and guided us through every step of our meals. The hand-formed mozzarella is not to be missed, as well as the oil poached tuna. The Mixed Greens and the Beets salads followed, beautiful to look at and each bite full of interesting flavor combinations. Three of us enjoyed full portions of pasta dishes - the fettucine, linguini, and gnocchi, The pasta was light, tender complimented by the different sauces. Our friend enjoyed the King Salmon and raved about the bed of butter beans it rested on. We wrapped up the evening with coffee, after dinner drinks and dessert of a creamy, decadent chocolate terrine with nectarine jam.

We were seated on the second floor of the restaurant in a lovely room with windows overlooking East Carson Street. The pace of the meal was very relaxed. I must mention what a difference a knowledgeable server makes! Mike answered all of our questions with patience, shared his recommendations, and really added a level of server we have not been fortunate enough to receive in Pittsburgh very often.

Beautifully prepared and presented Italian menu. They have an excellent wine list and change their menu 2-3 times a week. All of their offerings are a bit unusual or not what you might expect in an Italian restaurant. The pasta dishes are made with special flavors and meats and the meat dishes are mostly unusual in their preparation and presentation. Pittsburgh has many outstanding Italian restaurants but this is at the very top of the list

This is a warm established Italian restaurant with very good food and professional service. We were in town to take our son back to Pitt for the beginning of the school year and decided to go out for a nice meal instead of college kid food.

The restaurant is not inexpensive but worth it since the food is fresh and delicious. Instead of huge portions with fair food quality, you get a normal size portion with superb food quality for the price.

We celebrated my husband's birthday here last Saturday and had the most wonderful dining experience! The beer list was excellent and priced extremely well. We shared the fresh mozzarella and were not disappointed! The balsamic vinegar was decadent. The radicchio and endive salad with anchovy was probably the best salad I have had in Pittsburgh and the swordfish was cooked to perfection. My husband had the pork chop despite both of us swearing off pork chops at restaurants...this one made a believer out of us! Our other family members both had pasta dishes that looked heavenly. Everything was priced extremely well, especially when compared to other restaurants listed as comparable.

This restaurant has become my favorite restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. The service was great and prompt and the restaurant itself is quiet, decorated beautifully and a great change up form the normal chaos of the south side area. We will definitely be returning to this gem often!
