“Review for non-gamers!”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

Rivers Casino is only the third casino that i have visited… I go to casinos to eat and NEVER to play. Rivers is a clean casino with a great view of Pittsburgh from the glass stairway. While the game floor is divided into smoking and non-smoking, it still smelled in the non-smoking section due to lack of ventilation. The staff are very nice and they have great employment practices. I was really surprised by the food -- flavorful, playful, creative!

“Good Time, Lots of Smoke”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

Enjoyed the casino. Was there on Valentine's night. The restaurants were packed. But to be expected on this night. Enjoyed the gaming and was able to grab a bite to eat. The only issue I had was with the smoke. Yes, the casino does have a non smoking area. But it really matters not when you have to walk through so much of it to get there. Way too much smoke. But I guess that't the price you pay to make things available to all.

“Pleasant few hours in PIttsburgh”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

We recently spent a few hours on the slots at the Rivers Casino and had lunch at the buffet (our visit was midweek). The casino was clean and well maintained. You will receive some free slot play or meal discount if you apply for their players card. All the staff we encountered were courteous and polite, however not overly friendly. The lunch buffet offered a variety of food (Asian, Italian, BBQ, etc.) along with salad and dessert bars. We thought the food was fresh, appealing, and delicious. The cost was $14.99 per person and I think the dinner buffet was listed at $20.99. We enjoyed our visit to the Rivers Casino and would not hesitate to recommend it.

“Not for repeat visitors”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

If you are a local, pass on the Rivers as a regular stop for your gaming entertainment. The comps are uninspiring, the slots are very tight, and the Signature Card member's access to the 446 Club is not worthwhile. The 446 Club serves free buffet lunches and dinners for regulars who gamble at the $100,000+ per year level, but the food is not good and the service is horrible. Management at the casino has been made aware of the horrible 446 Club service, but refuses to make any visible effort to correct the problems. If you're a poker player, you're in for further disappointment. The floor personnel is weak and their dispute rulings are very inconsistent, and often contradictory, and some of the dealers seem to be lost and out of place at a poker table. I recommend other venues for your gaming pleasure.

“Love the city, casino needs a little more entertainment”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

My wife and I went to Pittsburgh to the Rivers Casino this past weekend, for a our first date night in over a year. We stayed at the Hyatt North Shore (awesome hotel) which was right around the corner from Rivers Casino. All in all, the casino was ok. We were looking for a little more than just gambling. We were looking for some live entertainment that would have been held at the casino. We ended up gambling $200 and just leaving. Didn't win a penny either. Best part of the casino was the drinks.
