A very cool museum that I love. I personally like this museum because so many of the exhibits are life-size and let you feel like you’re there rather than looking at a picture or something through glass! A very unique experience good for all ages!

If I had kids in Pittsburgh the children’s museum is the number one place I would take them, this is number two, and the science center is number three

All great places but that’s the order I would go!

This museum is a mini version of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. The dinosaur collection was quite extensive, but the rest of the collection was quite impressive, too. Of course, they do not follow the biblical timeline of creation.

This is one of the finest museums. I've been coming here since childhood when everything was free. Some of the meticulously maintained displays have been there as long as I remember. To see everything here you'll need to spend a good bit of time. Renowned for its dinosaur collection that are some of the best in the world. If in Pittsburgh visiting make this one of your stops and don't forget the art collection next door. There's parking for the Museums and street parking as well.

This museum was interesting but not as extensive in certain areas as one would have liked. The geological area and dinosaur areas were good, but less interactive for older visitors than it is for young children. All in all a good visit though and a good value for the admission, which allows access to four museums.
