This museum was interesting but not as extensive in certain areas as one would have liked. The geological area and dinosaur areas were good, but less interactive for older visitors than it is for young children. All in all a good visit though and a good value for the admission, which allows access to four museums.

I really enjoy this museum. The place is massive, so take your time, don't rush, and explore everything they have to offer. There's plenty of parking on site, and they also have a nice little cafe to keep your energy up during your visit.

The museum contains everything you would expect to see in a standard natural history museum, but what I liked about it the most is the "quietness". Most other natural history museums I have been too were too crowded and noisy, I think mainly because admission was free. For this one, there is a small charge for admission.

There is a lot of places to see here, so give yourself 3 to 4 hours. Lots of interesting things to see and I found if you take your time and talk to the volunteers, you'll learn so much more than just reading the plaques.
Here's one of the things I learned from a Volunteer that I would have just passed by the display without even knowing any of this and the story is fascinating and he told it well:
My favorite was learning about Senica Indian named Cornplanter. (Actually KI ON-TWOG-KY). He was half white. He helped in the Revolutionary war and after we beat the British he was given a lot of land for his assistance in getting the Seneca Indians to fight to free the land of the British.
He had houses and other buildings on it. Later, the Government took the land under eminent domain so they could build a dam that would flood his land. They were given a reservation instead in New York. They never replaced his land for another land of his own which he himself had owned.
