If you are in Pittsburgh you must take a day to visit. Great exhibits and great history for the whole family.

Wish we had more time there, great museum with tons to see. We came through Pittsburgh on a Monday and were so happy to find that (unlike most museums, including the Warhol and Mattress Factory) they were open. Will be visiting again as a day is only enough to scratch the surface of their awesome collection!

The dinosaur exhibit is terrific, but we just cut through it to get to the National Geographic traveling exhibit of 50 best photos. it was well done. Bravo. We were amazed by the rocks and gems if you have a rock person in the family allow several hours.

We went to the June 21+ and over night and it was amazing! The museum is bigger than it looks and has something for everyone. I loved all the artifacts and my fiance loved all the natural exhibits. The fact that we could try everything without having to worry about kids made it nicer for me. They had an Indiana Jones theme and they even had a scavenger hunt for us to do. It was a blast and we will definitely be going back for another adult night.
