“7 to 77”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2014

We took a small group on a trip the Carnegie Museum of Natural History - ages 7 to 77. Everyone was entertained.

We learned all kinds of new things - who knew that Jeeps and steamboats had their origins in PA? We explored sports, history, why 57 varieties is really 57 varieties and how a house in the 50's looked and felt.

This museum has a bit of everything, is well laid out, and allows great information for those interested in history, culture, and life.

“Awesome”

We spent hours in this Museum. There was definitely something for all of there from the 9 year old to the 17 year old to us parents! Great facility. Beautiful architect!

“Excellent dinosaur exhibit with other neat exhibits”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

There is a lot of dinosaur to see - almost the entire first floor of the museum. There were also other really interesting exhibits - the special exhibit was about race which was very thought-provoking and had lots of hands-on exhibits. The arctic exhibit had an excellent movie about natives and how they now live. Visiting on a Thursday after 4pm also meant discounted admission, which also gives access to the art gallery.

“Bought a membership!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

This place is extensive and impressive. We spent almost 4 hours in the natural history section and were just too wiped out and hungry to hit the art museum. So we applied our admission to a membership so we can go back any time we want. And we will!!

“Very enjoyable day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Every time we go, we enjoy the displays and take extra time to look over an area we skimmed over before. Go as a family, go as a couple...or wander around alone. Plenty to see here!
