Thanks to the late Andrew Carnegie. We have a gem here. A place of learning for any age of visitor. Well laid out. Great dinosaurs. A place the children will love.

“Worth the trip”

Was a wonderful day at the museum. Love the dinosaurs and the discovery room. Would love to have the noisy, moving dinosaurs exhibit again. Saw it years ago...

“Great Museum”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Excellent collection of Minerals and Dinosaur fossils! Native American floor is excellent especially for Elem students who study different Native American tribes in Upper Elem.

Be sure you visit the basement for a hands-on room for families. They can give you scavenger hunt bags that are VERY fun for families.

“Large Museum”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

Your admission ticket includes both the Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Art but there is too much to be able to go through both in the same day. We were able to go through all of the Museum of Natural History except for the Egypt exhibit but did not have time to go through any of Museum of Art. On weekends the parking at the museum is only $5 for all day, cheaper than the hourly rate on the weekdays. During the week parking is $5 for 2 to 5 hours but jumps to $10 for 5 to 6 hours. I was surprised by the caliber of the food in the cafe at the museum. Much better than I was expecting.
