I was amazed at the beauty in this place. First of all it only cost $15 for admission. We were greeted by many smiling staff members who were eger to answer all of our questions. I found this place extremely therapeutic, great picture oppritunities. This place is truely a must see, I highly recommend it!

I always visit Phipps during the Pennsylvania winter season which drags on forever. You enter a warm, sunny oasis. It's hot, but freezing cold outside...I absolutely love it. Bring your camera, because you will take soooo many pictures. The plants are beautiful, the staff is helpful, everything is organized so perfectly, & it lifts your spirits. Make sure to check their website before visiting, because they have some discounted days. You absolutely must come & experience the beauty. The orchid show is stunning, the spring bulbs are amazing, the bonsai room is so interesting, the sights/sounds of water are just wonderful, I can't saw enough...

This place is a jewel - a perfect place to come on a cold, snowy day to experience the beauty of plant life from around the world. There's a wide range of different biomes represented, with tasteful and educational exhibits on the way plants are used in different cultures and applications. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And the cafe is lovely! Strongly recommended.

I have been to Phipps countless numbers of times over the past 20 years. It never disappoints and is a great experience for both kids and adults, regardless of whether you're interested in botany.

The holidays (and winter in general) are a great time to visit Phipps. Experiencing the lush green spaces within when it's cold out is a lot of fun.
