Bring your camera. Around every bend in this garden paradise are visions of delight!
If you enjoy a lovely garden, imagine several that you can meander through at your own pace. Enjoyable and changing with the seasons, Phipps will keep you coming back. Every age can enjoy the exhibits, and some are geared especially for children. Nice gift shop and cafe right there. Free street parking close by. Make this a stop when in Pittsburgh.

I really enjoy visiting the Conservatory during the long cold winter months. Everything is green and beautiful (while outside the trees are bare, and the sky is gray). I can take off my winter coat and be toasty warm and transported to a tropical oasis. They have different exhibits so check their website to see what is going on.

This was our first time to visit here and thought it was very well done. The displays and exhibits were first class. The cafe was excellent with great service, a lot of healthy choices and our food was great.

The Phipps Conservatory is an exquisite backdrop to any wedding. The beautiful floral garden offered for an additional price for the photo shot is just gorgeous. The outdoor garden is nice for the wedding. We also had the event hall. Please realize the two venues are on opposite ends and were very difficult for the the elderly to navigate between due to distance. No problem for the young and young at heart.
The event staff are very accommodating. Gina from event planning was patient and helpful with every change and request. The wait staff the day of the event was terrific! The bartenders made any drink you could think of for our guests.
Don't hesitate to have your wedding here. Our guests loved it!!!

Phipps Conservatory is indeed a gem, as is Schenley Park, where the conservatory is set -- and where there are wooded trails, tennis courts, ice skating, etc. It's a great pleasure walking through the greenhouses at Phipps. The restaurant is a reason in itself to visit -- very innovative and well-prepared food. Phipps is a great place to visit alone, with friends, or with children.
