“Many attractions inside”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

There are a lot of attractions for kids inside - fountain, small water pool, place to play house.
There is a cafe on 1st floor.
There are many Asian plants inside. Those might be precious for American people. But for me, Japanese, I can see those plants near my home town and those are not so precious.

“Absolutely amazing”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Does not matter whether you like botanical gardens/conservatories you will find this place amazing and way out of ordinary. The exhibitions are very diverse and are done with a great taste of style. One of the best conservatories in the country and, probably, the top attraction in Pittsburgh.

“Totally enjoyed this”

Wide variety of plant life including tropical and cactus. Free parking and close to main museums. Toured out in about two hours. Displays changed with seasons.

“Autumn Spledor”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Can't wait to go back for the Christmas flower show. As a family of 5 it is a better deal just to buy a membership. The food in the Cafe is local, seasonal, and yummy.

“Mixed feelings”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Went to the Phipps for the fall show. Some displays were beautiful but he majority were a let down. Seems a little thrown together and sparce.
The waterfall on the wine rack was a nice touch and the orchids beautiful. I like to go and donate to keep it there for everyone to enjoy but its starting to be something I really dont want to bother wtih ,, a shame its declined a great place.
