Owner description: Scale Mount Washington in one of two original 1877 cable cars for a fun and unique ride and a breathtaking view of the Pittsburgh skyline when you reach the top of the 400-foot incline. Parking available across the street from our lower station at 1197 West Carson Street.

One of two of this reviewer's favorite part of recent 4 city road trip. Great part of local history. This is a cool ride and a great way to see the skyline of Pittsburgh. Friendly and knowledgable staff who explained the way the ride worked and some of the local history of the incline and local neighborhood history. This incline has the original car unlike the nearby incline which made this more enticing to ride. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting this city.

A little Pittsburgh history that is still left here - interesting ride up and down but the view of Pittsburgh and the 3 rivers from the top is well worth it - and at the bottom is Station Square - also great restaurants and shopping - when you visit the Burgh you have to take the ride

It was Brilliant, the view from top was really nice. We went in the night of baseball game, so got to see the fireworks too.

Took the chance to use a new DSLR camera and get some really great shots but nothing to do in this area once you're up there except a couple highbrow restaurants. Missed opportunity here as this would be an interesting area for some shops and a bit more interesting sightseeing. Just a dilapidated neighborhood up there.

Road the train/sub over enjoyed the awesome view from the incline. Awesome skyline. Only thing is there is no air so don't ride if you cant take the heat!
