I'm not a person who likes heights but this was so worth it for the view from the top. Informative displays in the building at the top give you the history of the incline and you can listen in on a tour group for more info. The cars are 130 years old but appear to be well maintained.
Free parking at the bottom. It was too cold and windy for us to do any walking around at the top so we just took some pics and came back down.
Costs $5.00 for a round trip ticket.
