Neat ride to top of Mt. Washington. The views of Pittsburgh are amazing! Station Square had a few restaurants and shops too.

“Creepy fun but no parking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Ok looking for this...park in station square and walk. There is no parking at the chalet looking bldg where you catch the incine. It kind of freaked me out as Mt. Washington is steep but the car easily creeped up the mountain. HAVE EXACT CASH. If you ride up, you pay at the top for the ride and then can also pay to ride down. There is no credit card accepted and if you don't have exact cash...you'll over pay. There is a change machine but not sure what bills it will break...I want to say only $1. Iconic feature of pittsburgh & a CHEAP must do/see. Me & two kids cost $7 to ride up and down. There are restaurants at the top & an overlook. The guy taking the $ said "this really isn't a tourist spot" and he was right. Not a ton to do up there but still worth saying you did it and experiencing the ride.

“A Tourist Must Do.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013

Go up the cables from the street to the top of Mt Washington. See Three Rivers. It's beautiful for 3.5 seasons. Winter has some very cold winds up there but the view and ride up and down are exhilerating.
