We love taking out of town family & guests. We take our grandchildren on it for their birthday & out to dinner. Makes a great evening.

Tickets were cheap, and cash was required. They did have a change machine in the office though. The trolley ride to the top of the hill was cool and had the feel of an old wooden roller coaster. Once a the top, there was a great observation deck that you really couldn't beat the views of downtown Pittsburgh from. There were people on tours, and an extremely small gift shop, both of wich I didn't utilize. The entire trip took about half an hour, and I wouldn't have needed/wanted to stay longer

We were shuttled to Mount Washington by the hotel we were staying. After taking in the view of the city and eating dinner, we took the Duquesne Incline down to the parking lot where we were picked up by the shuttle. Very enjoyable and very reasonable!

For $2.50 you get to see a beautiful view of the city of Pittsburgh. You can take some amazing pictures from the observation decks at the top. This is a must for out of town people.

Amazing view of the city from the observation deck. Ride was fun for young boys, only wish there were a daily "unlimited rides" pass you could purchase.
