Description: We knew of a ton of great Pittsburgh bars and restaurants, but we found ourselves going to one place to eat, and another place for some good camaraderie and better libations. That was all well and good, but we wanted one place where we could drink the best beers AND eat great homemade food, all while having fun with family and friends. Since we were getting old searching for our home away from home... We just decided to build our own, and share it with you! Visit our locally owned restaurant soon and let us know what you think.

Consistently great, locally sourced produce. It's our go-to place for a meal we can count on to be outstanding. Beer belly fries are better than Kennywood. Service is always pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. Daily specials are never disappointing!

I'm a local and people around here know all about this great little restaurant/bar. It's not big, but it's usually busy. Located in a deserted strip mall across from Target. It's expensive and lunch or dinner for two could be $30-50 easily. But what food it is. Just today the menu featured lemon basil shrimp pasta and berry merlot salmon. Where do you see food like that in a little bar? The appetizer specials are also unique and the desserts all come from a local bakery. There is also a wall of unique beers to choose from. On the everyday menu, the burgers are fantastic and I also love the hot sausage meatball hoagie. Never had a bad meal there and I've had many.

We also prefer to patronize "non" chain places, I found this on the internet, as we were going to be in the area for the day. The craft beer selection is vast, many good ones to choose from, both on tap and bottle. We had a group of 5 and every menu choice was delicious. Pot roast sandwich=yummy. You also can order a large basket of fries, and choose from many toppings to "load" them up yourself, we chose the beer cheese and bacon. May sound boring but was awesome. Our service was exceptional, staff knowledgeable. We plan on going back when we are in the area again.

Was looking for a non-chain spot after a long drive. Thought we were in the wrong place when we pulled in. It's the occupied part of a generally unoccupied retail strip. The food was good at a reasonable price. The draft selections were good and there were a ton of bottles available as well. Service was a little sketchy but we weren't in a hurry so no big deal. I'd go back.

This place should just be called Bocktown Beer. The food and the service were bad. We waited 10 minutes for our server to come over and introduce herself. We ordered the mussels and they were in an awful hot pepper jelly. It took another 25 minutes for us to get our food. Our sandwiches were blah, nothing special. If you visit this restaurant go for the beer not the food.
