“A worthwhile stop”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

This is the fifth DDD place we have visited and by far it rates in the top three places for breakfast.
A great staff who take care of you. Your coffe mug is never emptyu. A very creative menu. We had the west Coast Benedict and the Pumpkin Stuffed French toast. Both awesome dishes.

The turkey, spinach and tomato go well with the eggs and the toasted italion bread is perfect with this dish.

The french toast was divine. Perfectly cooked, lots of pumpkin and cinammon with the ricotta cheese stuffing. A side of home baked ham went well with this dish.

This is a must go place for breakfast in Pittsburgh.

Nice Hot Breakfast, Friendly Waitstaff, Great Service. Coffee refilled when
it should be, didn't sit waiting. I'd return.

“Food Network is on the money here! ! A”
Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

Love this place! We love to find awesome breakfast diners in the 'burgh and everywhere we travel, and this one is top notch! Get there early on the weekends unless you don't mind waiting a while, but trust us, it will be worth the wait! Excellent menu and great specials, including a weekday early bird special. We are becoming regulars here since moving to Brookline/ Dormont area in Pittsburgh. You will NOT be disappointed with this place!! Great service and a great local clientele in the heart of the city.

“Love this place!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

This was our second visit. I love the Dor-Stop for its food and its setting in a suburb of Pittsburgh - kind of quaint. The first time we went, we went during the week and there was no crowd nor a wait - maybe 5 minutes. We just went again on a Sunday, and yes there was a wait, but then you know the food must be good and it is.
It was a beautiful day, so we could wait outside. When it gets colder, that could be a problem as there is not much room to wait inside. We noticed that the crowd began to die down @ 12:30, so that may be a good time to go or go very early in the day.
I had the pumpkin pancakes which were good and filling. My husband had the cheese and sausage omelet which he enjoyed, The potatoes were very good.
The service was quite good too; no need to ask for coffee refills. The staff are very nice.
