We had a not-so-nice time staying at the Westin. Usually we stay at the Fairmont, but decided to try the Westin this trip. Basically, the room, furnishings and bathroom were just okay, not upscale based on our experience at other Westins. Also we had two scary experiences - the first is that there were what appeared to be blood stains on the pillow cases. That was noticed before we slept in the bed. In addition, a person identifying himself as being from Housekeeping, burst into our locked room, explaining that he didn't know the room was occupied. That was REALLY uncomfortable, particularly for my wife who was near the door. How unprofessional was that? Needless to say, we're going back to staying at the Fairmont. It's at a siilar cost, but a much nicer hotel in every sense - lobby, spa/workout facilities, rooms....
