I visited this museum on a Friday evening with 2 teenagers and my niece in her 20's.. .

The bar was open and we had 7 floors of the mans work and influence to check out ...

My daughter took the screen test and i just loved the set with Warhol TV !! The exhibition of iconic images by the photographer was quite amazing.... the shop was cool and the staff helpful and knowledgable . The place is rammed with all sorts of stuff.. I quite liked a pair of sneakers he had drawn on..

great value evening out

We spent some time in the museum and learned a lot about Mr Warhol that I didn't know. Nice little cafe on the bottom floor and a relaxed atmosphere provides you with the time to just take it all in. It is a little bit pricey for such a small space and it doesn't have his really iconic pieces but the film library is pretty unique to most art exhibits and the way the show it is really well put together.

Saw a snip it of Andy Warhol at the Dali in St. Pete Florida. Only there for 3 months. Some staff had on white wigs, gift shop items were very reasonably priced. My niece and I took the screen test. So much fun. He was certainly different. He was the one that coined the phase... "Everyone will have their 15 mins of fame" . Would love to see the museum in Pittsburgh someday.

What a fun museum! Not only do you get to enjoy the extremely popular and whimsical work of Andy Warhol, but you can get in on the action too. We opted to join in Museum Talk on the top of the hour, which helped to give us some background info on Warhol, as well as the techniques he made popular. Our guide also pointed out that we could visit the Factory on the ground floor and make some silkscreens of our own for FREE. Score! We were able to make our own personalized silkscreen on paper and also try out some of the other techniques on some of Warhol's most recognizable images. The only problem is deciding which print to make! Want a unique and completely personalized souvenir? Spend the few dollars to make your silkscreen on a tshirt, tote or journal. Some of the staff there were more helpful than others - but overall this is a fun way to experience an art museum for artists and wannabes of any age!

I love everything about Andy! Very eccentric and talented in his own right! Comfortable atmosphere and welcoming.
