Pamela's is the perfect place to visit while in the Strip District. Very good breakfast food and the atmosphere is just very cool and authentic. I recommend the chocolate chip pancakes. Ca't miss this place!

If you want to go on a calorie-count splurge this is the place, and it's worth the guilty pleasure. Amazing that there are American cities with more of an obesity problem than Pittsburgh, given the contribution Pamela's makes to the local diet.

We have visited other Pamela's restaurants before, and I can say the food quality at the Forbes Av location is consistent with the others. We hope Pamela's expands into the further reaches of Pittsburgh. The pancakes are the best you'll find anywhere, and you'll want to go exploring the neighbourhoods surrounding any of their locations.

Unless you're a fairly early riser, expect to wait a bit for breakfast at these popular restaurants.

Love coming back to the Burgh for a visit to get "The Morning After Breakfast".

Just as good as I remember. The eggs are made in real butter and the crepe pancakes are the best around.

A must stop for breakfast in the Burgh.

Had breakfast here on Sunday June 22nd after spending the weekend at Pitt for a sorority reunion. It was 7 college friends from way back.
First the staff was awesome, like I said we were a group of 7, they immediately accommodated us and got us hot coffee and water. Next, lol, they were also extremely patient. Have you ever tried to get 7 middle aged women who haven't seen each other in 15-20 years to pay attention? It ain't easy. They snapped endless pictures while still taking orders and refilling glasses.
Food, was excellent. I know this will sound weird but it was probably one of the best meals all weekend as we had a few catered hotel luncheons that tend to serve "wedding" food.

I had the french toast. yummy and a lot. pancakes were delicious, bacon crisp. all and all an excellent start to our sunday morning.

No doubt about it, we will be back!!

Oh one word of warning, they donot accept credit cards. bring cash.
