Nice place to see lots of different animals. Take water along through the walk on a warm day.

“Interesting place”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

The last time I was to T & D's was when my niece's pre-school class took a trip there. It was fun to see the different animals they have there. It got pretty warm on our walk through the park so take a bottle of water along if the weather is to be warm.

“Cool little Habitat !”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

We enjoyed the scenic country ride to the Cats of the World. Someone in the family found a brochure and suggested we try it. We were surprised at how cool this place was. You have to walk a lot in the woods a little -but it was neat to see the animals. You can even pet and touch some of the deer. The Cats were super cool and we took great pictures. The bears were sleeping, but we could see them. We will go back. Its more then a zoo - they rescue the animals and keep them safe. We want to sponsor one! There is a small fee to get in, and you can buy treats for the animals too. All of us enjoyed it ...from aged 8 to 58!

“Great attitude toward the animals”
Reviewed August 16, 2011

T & D's insists that it is not a zoo. It's a refuge for wild animals, either from closed zoos or from people who tried to raise them as pets. The grounds are laid out for the animal's benefit. If you can't see the animals because of the trees, that's ok with them. There are some amazing animals here that I haven't seen everywhere else. The tour is very informative.
P.S. My kids want me to tell everybody to feed the deer but not the emus. The emus peck the food out of your hand and it hurts.
