“Always a great place!”
Reviewed April 23, 2008

My husband and I have stayed many times at this facility, but always in the summer in the annex building because we enjoy the outdoor pool area. Since it was cold weather, we opted to stay in the main building. The room was very clean and comfortable as are the rooms in the annex building. This hotel is centrally located for sightseeing and shopping. Their breakfast is excellent. Indoor pool and hot tub were also clean.I recommended it to everyone!

We stayed at the Revere Inn for four days this April. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The check in was fast and easy, the desk staff were very nice and helpful with area attractions. The room was not huge but there was plenty of room to move about. One thing about the room and bath, it was spotless, probably the cleanest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Hats off to the housekeeping staff!

The first evening there we were tired so we decided to eat at the on site restaurant, they also included discount vouchers with the room. The restaurant is located in front of the hotel across the parking lot in the historic old inn building. The dinner was excellent, we had the Maryland Rockfish with apricot glaze and the Crab Stuffed Salmon, both prepared perfectly.

We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place in the Lancaster area. It is right in the middle of Dutch country, and close enough to York, Gettysburg or Hershey for attractions.

This is the third stay for our family and our kids are always sad when we leave. It's just a nice clean place which is quiet so that our kids can fall asleep by 9PM. The pool is always fun for them and the continental breakfast with yogurt, bagels, doughnuts, cereal, egg & ham croissants, and egg & sausage burritos has everything a family could need. We get going for the day and our kids are "happy".

The staff is ALWAYS very helpful - from the maintenance services to the front desk personnel. We were even able to avoid a trip to Strausburg Railroad to purchase tickets and instead buy them online from the lobby PC and then print to the printer behnd the front desk. It's that type of convenience that a young family needs! (and our kids were on the train this AM when other families sadly found out that the ride was sold out because of the beautiful weather. Oh my heart ached for those kids and their parents!)

This hotel will always be our 1st choice when visiting Lancaster.

  • Disliked — Nothing that I can think of.

We stay in this hotel regularly when traveling between Virginia and New York and just love it.The rooms are clean and well equipped and the beds are excellent. My husband and I especially love the common area inside the entrance which has comfortable sofas and a fireplace. After the kids go to sleep--rooms are right down the hall--we head there to read, enjoy the fire and use the wireless internet. (There are highspeed connections in the rooms as well, plus a public terminal near the front desk). Breakfast is served in the same area in the mornings--the usual waffles, breads/pastries and cereals. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The location is great--you are on US30, but you are well past the tacky Dutch Wonderland and shopping mall strip--there are just farms nearby. And when you DO want to head for the shopping and restaurants, it's only 10 minutes down the road. The hotel itself is back from the road and nicely landscaped.

This is a great place for a stopover and would be fabulous for a longer vacation--something we are planning for this summer!

  • Liked — Wonderful rooms, nice main area, well away from the tourist strip.
  • Disliked — Ceiling fans in the common area--they made it too cold last time we were there!

Stayed here for a week in January. My wife, 3 yr old,2 yr old and I had a wonderful time. The rooms and entire hotel were perfectly clean, the staff was pleasant and the indoor pool was very nice. Their complimentary breakfast is not your run of the mill free breakfast. There was a large selection, including waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, fresh doughnuts and pastries to mention a few. we stayed in the main building so we could fill up our plates and bring it back to the room, which helped having two small children. Also the location is perfect, close enough that everything was a short drive away, but the area is just before the congested area of Lancaster. This is where we will stay anytime we come back to the Lancaster area

My family and I have been visiting the Amish Country almost every Christmas for many years. I had never stayed at the Best Western Revere Inn and based on reviews, decided to give it a try. Check in was fast and painless. The lady in charge of check in was very nice and accomodating. We had two connecting rooms and they were clean and attractive. These rooms are not ever going to be mistaken for deluxe accomodations but they were clean, good sized, pleasantly furnished and fairly priced. Each room had two queen sized beds, an armoire with a fridge, a reclining chair and a table with two chairs. The bathrooms were not large but there was a small dressing area right outside the bathrooms. Truthfully, I have stayed at other Best Westerns that were a bit higher end in terms of furnishings and extra amenities, including the Best Western Eden in Lancaster. However, the rooms suited my purposes and I have no absolutely no complaints about them. The housekeeping staff was very good. They were actually waiting in the hall every morning for people to leave the rooms so that the rooms could be cleaned. They were very friendly and polite as well. I can recall being at other hotels in this area and being frustrated because it was 2 in the afternoon and my room had not yet been cleaned. Breakfast was above average for a deluxe continental breakfast. There was juice, fruit, cereal, coffee, bagels, donuts, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, cream cheese, butter, jellies and yogurt. I think there are only a certain amount of sandwiches put out each day and when they run out, they are not replaced. There were a good number of tables and chairs but depending on what time you arrived for breakfast there could be a wait for a table. There is an indoor swimming pool as well which is a big plus if you have kids. Also, the hotel is well situated - close to shopping and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Traveling through Pennsylvania one night in April, 2007 and did not have a hotel reservation. It was getting late in the evening so I decided to stop. Found the Best Western Revere Inn. Called the hotel from the road and they still had rooms available (and at a reasonable rate with AAA discount). Check-in process was quick and easy. Asked the girl at the front desk where a good place to eat would be that was close to the hotel. She was very helpful and suggested some restaurants as well as pizza place that would deliver to the hotel. After being on the road all day something delivered sounded like the best option. Ordered a pizza from Paradiso Pizza and have to say it was one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time. The hotel was clean. My room was in the annex which didn't bother me because I could park right in front of the room. The complimentary continental breakfast the next morning was above average with some very good homemade coffee cake.
