Bruster's is a chain of hard ice cream shops which also share locations with Nathan's hot dogs and we're lucky to have one right on the Palmyra/Hershey line on Rt. 322. They always have a variety of tasty ice cream flavors to choose from along with sorbet, Italian ice, and yogurt. There is one day a week where you can bring your own banana and save on a banana split. Real fresh-made waffle cones that are huge. If there is a special flavor you'd like give them a call and they'll make it fresh for you for a future date. My favorite is the coconut chip (full of coconut flavor with huge chunks of dark chocolate...yum!). The coconut sorbet was wonderful, too! You get a lot for the price and I can be fully happy with a kids' size cone! If you get a large waffle cone it's like 5 huge scoops! Decent toppings, sundae flavors, and kid sundaes. If your child is under a certain height they get theirs for free! They also custom-make ice cream cakes. There can be a line and my only complaint is that they never have enough workers and you can wait a while even when no line and no shady spots to sit and eat (they need more tables)! Don't forget to ask for a punch card to get a free cone after buying so many. Good ice cream and don't forget you can order a tasty Nathan's hot dog although I've never tried one here (can't make it past the ice cream!)
