“great deli”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

I visit her occasionally and the food is always fresh, very good and reasonably priced. The servers are always pleasant. They also have a deli and again meats and bread are always fresh and great.

“Traditional Jewish Deli at it's best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

We visit Pumpernick's often when in the North Wales/Montgomeryville area. Our latest visit did not disapoint.
Although a 20 minute wait preceeded our meal (a common occurance) it was worth the addtional time spent.
This was a lunch date and although service was a little slow to begin it picked up and was more than satisfactory by the end.
Our meals consisted of, white fish salad platter, kippered salmon sandwich, and chicken strips w/fries. All were fresh, well prepared and very tasty.
Prices here are standard for the Deli industry although some of the specials can be a real cost savings.
Highly recommend Pumpernick's especially for traditional Jewish style foods such as Matzo Ball Soup, Borscht, Brisket, etc.

“Don't ignore the desserts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

Ditto all the positive things the other reviewers have said. Just wanted to add that their desserts are also top-shelf. Bought two pies and a cheesecake for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them. We also take friends here for lunch and they are always surprised that there's such a great city Jewish deli experience to be had right here in the 'burbs. They do get busy on the weekends so call first for wait times.

May they live long and prosper!

“Very good Jewish deli in the land of white bread”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

I really enjoy a good corned beef or pastrami sandwich from time to time. Living in a city makes this easy, walk to the corner deli and you have it. Not so easy in northern suburbs of Philly where finding a good Jewish deli is more of a task. Pumpernicks is that place for me. It is located only 15 minutes (most days) from Central Bucks or Montgomery counties and has a great overall menu. Really good sandwiches and make sure you grab a home made pickle of two from the pickle bar. It is always full, there is always a line but they turn the tables quickly and the wait if never long and the food is definitely worth that minor inconvenience.
