“Mixed Review”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2012

We've gone to CrayZ Parrot two times, once with a group and once with just my wife and me. Both times, the female owner was very rude to her staff and us! The food was mediocre, but the view was amazing (the only good part of this restaurant).

“million dollar view & good drinks to wash down re-heated food”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2012

they truly need to hire a cook-you could see the water on my plate from having been re-heated in a microwave oven v.freshly prepared and the meals are pricey for what amounts to a frozen dinner

“The view is fantastic and a great place to watch the sunset. Shame about the service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2011

The view from the outside deck is fantastic, looking over the marina and the lake. We were lucky enough to have a great sunset, which is wonderful, sitting on the deck drinking a cold beer.
We didn't read any of the reviews beforehand, so were surprised by some previous comments. We went midweek (Tue & Wed) for dinner both nights.
We do agree with most of the comments about the service. We weren't in a hurry so just enjoying the view.
The female waitress on our first night was attentive and asked if we wanted some more drinks, plus there were a few other tables eating outside as well. We thought a good variety of meal choices having selected the angel pasta & crab cake. We had no problems with our meals, both were nice and we thought the servings were a good size for the cost.

The 2nd night we were served by a male waiter, who appeared it was a bit of an effort to serve us as we switched from having a few drinks at the bar, to sitting outside for a meal. Once again the food was fine and we enjoyed our meal, however hardly any service at all. We had to constantly ask for another beer and he was only waiting on another table plus us.

Overall the view is fantastic, we thought the food was good & also not too pricey (food & beer)considering they are the only place to eat near the B & B and within walking distance and the location. However, 1st nights service was good & 2nd nights service was none existant. So it depends on who serves you.

“Do not eat here”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2011

First things first if you are hungry, plan on waiting.. My husband and I stood there for 15 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. The bartender stared at us while servers walked beside us as well. Finally we asked to be seated and the hostes said, ill see whays avaiable. The entire dining room was empty. We told him inside was fine thinking wed get a seat. He took us outside where there were open tables. Not sure why we waited so long.... Then the food is avaerage but the portion size is pathetic. If you get vegtables and mashef potatos each side is about two bites and you are finished. The our fish as not cooked. When I asked to get it sent back it took so long I didnt want it. I wss still charged for something I didnt eat. The the owner yelled at me and told me he doesnt need us as customers and to never come back...needless to say the wasnt an option!!! Management works with the public and the act like animals to there customers
