“Great friendly place to eat”

Love the Beer selection and the food is really good. Every time I've gone I have't had to wait long to be seated and the staff was very friendly. Nice atmosphere as well, I've been here several times and will be back again.

“Excellent Dinner”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

We were visiting some family in the area and met some friends at Isaac Newtons. It was a Friday night, so we had a (roughly) 25 minute wait. The place is not easy to find from State St. and there are no signs on the street itself.

Once we were seated, we saw that the restaurant had a pretty big menu and good beer choices. The server was very attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. I had a Sly Fox Christmas beer, which was OK if you like the sweet nutmeg/cinnamon taste in your beer. Portions were pretty generous. I had a grilled chicken salad and it was fresh and good. Their mustard cider dressing worked well with this salad. One of my kids got a kid's meal burger and it was bigger than what you get at most restaurants. Everyone at the table was pretty happy with orders.

I agree that the bathroom space could be bigger. There was one in the upstairs area and I am told there was one in the basement. The single room thing is an invitation to long lines, but sometimes restaurants have to work with the hand they are dealt.

Overall, though, we had a great time and would definitely go back if we were in the area.

They have lots of seasonal tap beers. Great home style food. Meatloaf sandwiches, "french dip" prime rib sandwiches. (you can see we went for lunch) Very yummy, we will be back!

“Always worth the trip!”

Comfortable family spot with an extensive, well-crafted menu. The beer list is extensive and they know how to serve it properly. The only criticism I have is that they're about an hour away from us!

“If you like beer this is the place for YOU.”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Too many brews to count, this was and is the original micro brewery tasting bar in all of Bucks county. Brews change seasonally and holidays agreat place to tickle your taste buds. Plus the food is very good. Whether you are looking for pub food or a full on dinner, you will never be disappointed. Friendly owners and staff make for an overall great experience.
