I want to start by saying that Frank, the manager, was a really nice guy. My wife and kids and I shared a room with 2 double beds on New Years Eve...last night. I didn't sleep well, which is typical for me...certainly no fault of this Super 8. When I came out to breakfast this morning, Frank asked how I slept. It was clear I looked tired. I've stayed at enough places to know that most managers and/or clerks really don't care about you unless you make them care! Frank was just a genuinely nice man concerned about a customer.
The room was adequate in size for the price. The furnishings and bedding were adequate for the price. The room was clean and everything worked. The hotel was conveniently located with sufficient options for dining for a brief stay. The breakfast selections were adequate as well for the price. Here again Frank rose to the occasion, when my wife and daughters came out near the end of the breakfast time frame.... He did not hesitate to get additional cinnamon rolls and waffles to be certain the ladies had eaten what they want.
It is not a fancy establishment, but earns a higher rating because of the care provided by Frank. I would be pleased to stay there again with this type of service and not to mention it was about $60/night less than the competition.
