After 2 visitis to Dilly's Done Different last season, my family and I deceided to have a 60th birthday celebration here. We could not have chosen a better place! The hosts,Nancy & Tommy, treated us like family. BYOB, FANTASTIC beautifully prepared food, wonderul service provided by a very friendly wait staff all contributed to the perfect party. 10 people with about 8 different entrees'.....everyone was very satisfied. Salads, homemade soups and desserts- what more could you ask for? Reservations are a must. Can't wait for our next visit!

White tablecloths, fresh flowers on each table, nice touches of color and music. The warmest of greetings by the host. Friendly and attentive (but not fawning) waitress. And the food was fabulous. Each of us ordered something different (lasagna, rack of lamb, salmon, pork chop), and each was pleased with their choice. The accompanying vegetables were different and delicious (roasted butternut squash over sauteed spinach; broccoli rabe; a mini potato gratin). We tried the house salad, which was perfect, and the crab cake appetizer. The food and service are excellent; the atmosphere is laid back. Because we went at 7, we were told the table was ours for the rest of the evening, and to take our time. BYOB, too. Not inexpensive, but very fairly priced. We will go back often.

November marks "transformation time" time at Dilly's Corner (aka "Dilly's Done Different" in the winter months), from its well-known summer burgers, hot dogs, long waiting lines, soft ice cream, paper plates, etc -- to laced curtins, wine glasses, single roses adorning pre-set clothed tables -- "this can't be Dilly's"! But it is! Long-time owners Tommy and his wife Nancy, aided by their family and "extended" family (including a couple of veteran summer "kid" workers who subsequently went on to Culinary School) pull the winter transition off with surprising aplomb! An ambitious and varied menu offers up Beef Wellington, succulent grilled chicken, braised short ribs, assorted pastas and first courses (a pumpkin ravioli was really excellent) and, frankly, the overall execution was very well done! "Fun" is clearly had by all in the process, by customers, by waitstaff, by the kitchen and, of course, by gregarious Tommy & Nancy, who make a point of visiting each table to make sure all are happy with their fare. A definite go! (Reservations are really necessary as the space is limited.)

We stopped here because we always noticed how packed it was on the weekends as we drove by. I ordered the cheesesteak and there was not much meat in it. My husband got the Dilly dog and although it was huge, it was nothing to write home about. The milkshake was good, and next time we stop, we will order a burger and ice cream as that is what the others in the restaurant was. We will give it one more try.
