We visited the Logan Inn Restaurant Nikolas on Friday evening. The weather was perfect so the outside venue was a great choice. We were welcomed and seated promptly. We were approached for a drink order before we were actually settled in our seats. We asked the server to return which she did. We then each ordered a glass of wine which took longer than expected to arrive. My wife and I ordered the Prix Fixe dinner (which actually has a different price for each item). The appetizers were good. Our salad was delivered and the waitress said she would be back in 1 minute with fresh ground pepper. She immediately went to the next table and took and order and we did not see her back. I ordered a Greek Salad, and when it arrived it was composed of lettuce, green pepper, onion, and a single wedge of tomato with a smattering of feta cheese. This was not even close to a real Greek salad. The dressing was quite oily and without seasoning. The whole Mediterranean fish was well prepared and the side dished good. I had the rice pudding for dessert which was served warm and was quite good. Unfortunately my coffee arrived cold and it took some time to get it replaced. The server should have noticed this but seemed inattentive to details.
In general the experience was good, ambiance very good, food very good with some flaws, and the service was average at best. We would return but with lowered expectations.
