“A true bed and breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2011

The Inn is very beautiful. The room we stayed in was absolutely lovely and the grounds were well kept and inviting. It was a nice touch to have water in the room and the fruit salad at breakfast was delicious along with the brownies at snack time. Having paid quite a bit for the stay, I know my expectations were extremely high; however, there were some minor details that I felt should not have been overlooked. Snacks in the room were a great idea, but they had expired! Breakfast was a bit shaky at times (empty coffee pot/wrong order). Also we had eaten our mints next to our bed and they were never refilled. Mike the owner was extremely gracious and personable and I'm sure if I told him of these details he would have done his best to rectify the issues. So, all in all it was an enjoyable stay; however, I think they should address some of the minor details to make it a 5 star place.

Room Tip: Book at the last minute to get a good/fair price

My husband and I just came home and already wish we were back at the Inn. It's only about 70 miles from here, but it seems like another world. Mike and his staff treated us like royalty from the moment we walked in the door and could not have been more gracious or helpful. The suite was unbelievably beautiful and spacious and we felt right at home immediately. The food was wonderful, the grounds are exquisite and I can't wait to see it when the leaves begin to change. We've been to a number of B&Bs in the area, but none come close to The Inn. We're already planning our next trip and hope to be back on a regular basis.

We were very happy here. Comfortable, quiet, property is maintained well.
Attractive room, nice amenities and a wonderful bathroom.
Owner was very helpful and nice whenever we had a question as to where to go eat dinner or what to see nearby.

Room Tip: Regal Tower Suite or English Manor Suite

Just returned from a 2 days trip to the Inn at Bowman's Hill. We were one of two couples at the inn and it was wonderful. We had a rough start, but after speaking with the owner, Michael, things went smoothly and he couldn't do enough to please us. It was relaxing and took us away from the stressors of everyday. Michael is an upstanding man with a good sense of how to please his guests. Would return again when we need to escape from reality. Grounds were wonderful, cannot believe the views and tranquility. The bedding was superb, one of the best night's sleep I've had anywhere. Enjoyed the rustic feel of the inn and the free range chickens and roosters were enjoyable to watch.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Regal Tower suite.

My husband and I stayed, again, at the Inn at Bowman's Hill for my 60th birthday. Of course, having my husband book us into the best suite they had helped, but our stay was magical. The room was perfect, with a dual person shower, dual person jacuzzi tub, a tv in every room (3), and an extremely comfy bed. Breakfast was wonderful, basically offering us anything we wanted. After breakfast, we roamed the grounds, which encompassed a pool, a pond and a large expanse of green and woods. The best part was opening the chicken and duck cages to let them roam free for the day. Must be why the eggs tasted so good! Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I had a great time at this exceptional B&B! We chose this B&B for a getaway after I was away for business for some time. It also was an anniversary getaway being as our anniversary fell the following week. Mike and staff were fantastic and would do anything you asked and some. They definately made the stay very enjoyable and was a great break from both of our normal busy routines. Breakfast was great and the menu was pretty flexible. The B&B grounds are great even though it rained for our entire stay and didn't get to explore them much. Would highly recommend this B&B for a quick weekend getaway or for any special occasion. Very relaxing with no worries. We are already planning our next stay for my return home the next time.

Room Tip: Any if you're looking for relaxation...
