“Very disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

This restaurant used to be our favorite in New Hope and since we live nearby, we went there frequently. Times have changed though and our recent meal was terrible. The prices have climbed to the stratosphere with most people opting for the bar. My wife had a "1/2 rack" of ribs for $16 that was 4 small bones with very little meat. I had fish and chips which was two small pieces of unknown fish accompanied by a few soggy French fries. All the other choices on the menu were priced out of reason for a casual meal like this. New ownership or new policy has not made this the place to go.

“Cozy in the winter”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

We just ate here on Saturday night after church. They have 2 fireplaces going inside and a fire pit out side in case you just want to take in the sights of the Delaware. So it's a good cozy place to go for (drinks or dinner)if your visiting New Hope in the winter months.
We all enjoyed our meals, the food is prepared well. I had the red snapper and my father-in-law had the trout, it was to much for me to finish so it was lunch the next day. My husband had the spares ribs and he enjoyed every finger licking one. The service is good but not exceptional, just make sure you make reservations the place is small inside. In the warmer months they have outside seating, which is larger then inside. I think you will enjoy.

“Unparalleled views of the Delaware, food OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2013

Run a muck with friends while taking in the best dining views of the Delaware River. Staff has great sense of humor and is very welcoming. Had the salmon salad many times for lunch. Food is average and a tad on the pricier end for the area, but the views make up for that.

“Cozy indoors”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013

We walked from the Playhouse on a cold and blustery day. We were greeted by a warm fire. Our table was ready. The menu was small, yet everyone found something that sounded good. the waiter was helpful with choices. When asked for a hot drink, he recommend apple cider with honey Jack Daniels. It was so good i want to go back and sit by the fire and have another! My fig salad (which i added chicken to) was also good. It was priced on the high side, but the greens, the figs and the goat cheese where prefect. It would be nice if it came with a roll or bread. Service was good too!
