Restaurant service on New Year's Eve can be frustrating, but Nikolas did a great job. And we loved the food from the $39 and $55 prix fixe menus. Highlights were filet mignon, short ribs, crab cakes in phyllo, chicken and dumplings, and all the appetizers we ordered, including the hummus sampler that fed the table. The only reason for the four stars (more accurately four and a half) is that two of the salad selections were not as good as expected; the mesclun and beet salads were described as bland.
