I had heard of the Blue Moose long before we dined there. The story of a teenage boy starting his business by serving dinners out of his parents kitchen was captivating. The reality is even more so! The owner/head chef of this establishment is the ripe old age of 22 years. Not only is his cuisine excellent but his business acumen was as well. He worked the room, going table to table to ascertain that all was well. The menu is reasonably broad with comfort food like chicken pot pie as well as more exotic fare. It is BYOB which makes it far more reasonable than many of the restaurants of the area. The fixed priced menu allowed selections and even included dessert which in my case was a fantastic blueberry cobbler. Go with an appetite, you will be delighted!
